According to a new study ,media exposure can put teenagers at a great ed risk of violent behaviour many experts and parents agree with the findings.The debate over media violence has always been haunted by one question "weather or not it actually leads to real-life violence.A new study has revealed that violent media exposure can put teenagers at a greater risk of violent behaviour.The findings,reported in an online edition of the JOURNAL OF YOUTH and adolescence,AOL reveals that violence-packed TV shows,novice and video games can affect some children adversely leading to hurt full and volatile actions.
And parents couldn't agree more Many of them feel that the portrayal of violence in news channels and newspaper leaves their kids with un constructive thoughts and a violent state of mind.so,does this mean that media portrayals of violence leads to negative act in home. since,the teenagers are vulnerable,they unintentionally become easy targets.Parents feel that the portrayal of violence in news channels has left kids with unconstructive thoughts.
